​DR. LORA GAXIOLA, DMD
Dr. Gaxiola has wanted to be dentist since she was in middle school!
She grew up in Sylacauga, AL and graduated from Sylacauga High School. From there, she attended Birmingham-Souther College where she graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Biology/Psychology. Then, she attended University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry, and immediately upon graduating, began her practice at Glow Dentistry, where she has been since 2008.

One of Dr. Gaxiola's favorite things about being a dentist is meeting new people and helping them realize that going to the dentist can be fun! She also enjoys and appreciates the many relationships she's made with her patients and their families over the years!
​
Together, Dr. Gaxiola and her husband Nick have a 14 year old son and 11 year old daughter who keep them very busy!
When she's not working, she enjoys spending time with family, going to Zumba classes, reading, and listening to podcasts, especially Armchair Expert!

Dr. G is a member of the Birmingham District Dental Society, Alabama Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the American Academy of Clear Aligners.
SUSIE GAMBLE, RDH ~ PATIENT COORDINATOR
Susie has over 30 years of dental experience and has been at Glow since 2008! She is a graduate of the AB Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene Programs. She has experienced the changes of dentistry over the years and enjoys adapting to them. She feels that todays dentistry can be life-changing for patients, but what is most rewarding for her are the personal and professional relationships she has formed over the years.
Susie lives in Alabaster with her husband, of 40 years, Mark. They have two children, Beth and Tyler. Beth lives in Auburn with her husband Steven and their three kids, McKinsie, Blakely, and Brooks. Tyler is married to his college sweetheart, Carrie, the live in Birmingham.
Susie's hobbies have always included spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loves participating and watching all of their many activities. Susie also loves Disney, from the snacks to the rides, she loves it all!
LISA Z. HEARN, RDH ~ HYGIENIST
Lisa has been a hygienist for over 40 years. She considers her job an opportunity to giver her patients the help and information the need in order to maintain their dental health. She feels strongly that by maintaining proper oral hygiene, people can not only improve their oral health, but also their overall health and well-being.

Lisa lives in Alabaster with her husband, Carey. Together, they have two children, Lindsie and Reed, as well as two grandbabies, Bentley and Walker.
​

SHELLEY JORDAN, RDH ~ DENTAL HYGIENIST
Shelley was born in Selma, AL and now lives in Chelsea with her husband, two children, Madison (20) and Colton (10), and their dogs, Luna and Moose.
She has been with Glow for over 6 years and has been in dentistry for 9 years. Shelley loves meeting new people and takes pride in making her patients feel comfortable in the dental chair. She's also amazing at remembering details of her patient's lives. When you're in her room, you're sure to have a good conversation with her and Dr. G, and don't worry, because Shelley's also great at the interpretation of open mouth language.
Shelley is in the process of becoming a dental hygienist!

Outside of the office, Shelley enjoys going for boat rides out on the lake, shopping, football, and reading a good book!
JENNIFER McMURPHY ~ BENEFITS COORDINATOR
Jennifer, our resident benefits expert, has been with Glow for over 3 years (although, we feel like she's here forever!). Jennifer has enjoyed working in the dental field for over 30 years!

She and her husband, David have four children, two grandchildren, and a sweet pup! Jenn enjoys living on the lake and fishing, spoiling her grandchildren, and listening to podcasts. She's also one of the biggest Tom Petty fans you'll ever meet!
NIKI PATE, RDH ~ HYGIENIST
Niki is from Hueytown and is a graduate of the Alabama Dental Hygiene program and has 10 years of dental experience. She loves educating her patients on oral health and how it corresponds with overall health. Making sure her patients are happy is her top priority, you're sure to have an amazing experience with her a your hygienist!

She and her husband, Austin, are high school sweethearts and together have a precious 1 year old girl, Collins.
​
Outside of dentistry, Niki enjoys spending time with family, crafting, traveling, and painting!
