​DR. LORA GAXIOLA, DMD
Dr. Gaxiola has wanted to be dentist since she was in middle school!
She grew up in Sylacauga, AL and graduated from Sylacauga High School. From there, she attended Birmingham-Southern College where she graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Biology/Psychology. Then, she attended University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry, and immediately upon graduating, began her practice at Glow Dentistry, where she has been since 2008.

One of Dr. Gaxiola's favorite things about being a dentist is meeting new people and helping them realize that going to the dentist can be fun! She also enjoys and appreciates the many relationships she's made with her patients and their families over the years!

Together, Dr. Gaxiola and her husband Nick have a 16 year old son and 14 year old daughter who keep them very busy!
When she's not working, she enjoys spending time with family, going to Zumba classes, reading, and listening to podcasts, especially Armchair Expert!

Dr. G is a member of the Birmingham District Dental Society, Alabama Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the American Academy of Clear Aligners.
SUSIE GAMBLE, RDH ~ PATIENT COORDINATOR
Susie has been with Glow Dentistry for 17 years and in the dental field for over 40 years! She loves her interactions with patients and all of the friendships she has made - she feels like our patients are a part of her family! She loves making our patients feel good about coming to the dentist and not being fearful when seeing us.
Susie and her husband, Mark live in Alabaster with their sweet dog, Izzy! They have two children, Tyler and Beth, and 6 grandchildren, who keep them busy!
When Susie is not at our office you can catch her outdoors, watching ALL of the sports her grandchildren play! She also loves walking and gardening - if we ever kill a plant, Susie is our go-to for bringing them back to life!
LISA Z. HEARN, RDH ~DENTAL HYGIENIST
Lisa has been in dentistry over 40 years and has been with Glow Dentistry for 12 years! Lisa is very knowledgeable and loves educating her patients on how to maintain their oral health. She also loves helping give patients their smile and spark back!
Lisa lives in Alabaster with her husband, Carey and their foster fail pup, Beau! They have two children, Lindsie and Reed, and two grandchildren, Bentley and Walker!

SHELLEY JORDAN, RDH ~ DENTAL HYGIENIST
Shelley has been with Glow Dentistry for 10 years and in dentistry for 13 years! She graduated from the Alabama Dental Hygiene Program in 2023, but before becoming a dental hygienist, she was Dr.Gaxiola’s assistant! Shelley loves staying up to date on the latest dental techniques and advancements in dental hygiene to provide the best care possible for her patients!
Shelley lives in Chelsea with her husband, Eric, two children, Madison and Colton, and two dogs, Luna and Moose!
Outside of the office you can find Shelley on their boat, shopping, reading a few good books, and watching football! She also loves the beach!
JENNIFER McMURPHY ~ BENEFITS COORDINATOR
Jennifer, our benefits expert, is the first smiling face you’ll see when you enter our office! She has been with Glow Dentistry for 7 years and in dentistry for 38 years! She loves helping our patients get over their fear and anxiety of the dentist and loves seeing their progress from their first visit to their current visit!
Jennifer has two dachshunds, Penny and Lucy! She has 3 children and 4 grandchildren!
Outside of the office Jennifer loves reading, spending time on the lake, and spending time with her grandchildren! She's also one of the biggest Tom Petty fans you’ll ever meet and loves concerts!
EMMA SHIRLEY ~ DENTAL ASSISTANT
Emma has been with Glow Dentistry for 3 years and has been a dental assistant for almost 6 years! She helps manage all of our social media accounts and is in the process of becoming a dental hygienist! Emma loves helping Dr.Gaxiola transform smiles and loves the artistic aspect of dentistry. You’re sure to have a confident smile after leaving her room!
Emma and her fiance, Justin live in Hueytown and have a sweet baby boy, Stetson.
Outside of the office, Emma loves attending concerts, picking up new hobbies, and spending time outdoors with her family!
KIMEESHA ROGERS ~ DENTAL ASSISTANT
Kimeesha attended UAB’s Dental assisting program and has been with Glow Dentistry for 2 years. She enjoys making patients comfortable with her humor and always keeps us laughing! If you’re in her chair you’re ensured to have a great dental experience, with a free concert or two!
Kimeesha is from Selma, but recently moved to Hoover and has been loving it! She has a sweet pup, Miso!
Outside of the office Kimeesha loves trying out new restaurants, working out, and getting plenty of rest! Did we mention she loves naps?
