To our patients and their families:
As one of your trusted healthcare providers , we are reaching out to inform our patients about the steps we are taking to alleviate potential COVID-19 concerns.
In times of uncertainty, misinformation often spreads quickly, especially in today’s digital age. In these moments, it is important to maintain perspective and turn to knowledgeable and credible sources. According to the latest reports from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and other national healthcare providers, the current health risks are minimal for most groups. We recommend all of our patients wash their hands frequently, avoid close contact with people who are sick, and stay home if you aren’t feeling well, specifically if you have a fever and/or cough. If you are ill and need to remain home, please call us and we will reschedule your appointment without a schedule change fee.
We follow strict cleaning policies for the protection of both our staff and our patients. Each staff member maintains rigorous personal hygiene standards as well as using universal precautions in all interactions with patients. We use hospital-grade disinfectants across the entire office, with extensive room cleaning after each patient to ensure a safe and clean environment. After each use, all dental instruments receive the highest level of medical sterilization available. These processes have always been of utmost importance in our office and will continue to be the standards we uphold. In addition to our standard cleaning protocols, for the coming weeks we are also taking the following measures:
1. Keeping all doors open so no one will need to touch the door handles;
2. Removing ipad kiosks for check in;
3. Removing magazines and treasure box toys and any other “high touch” items;
4. Allowing patients to wait in their car, and text when we are ready to take you back;
5. Providing hand washing stations and anti-bacterial gel for patients to keep their hands clean and disinfected; and
6. Allowing patients to pre-rinse with Peroxide, before any procedure is performed.
Please rest assured that we are following local and national updates daily, and will continue to maintain the highest level of safety and patient care that you have come to expect. If you have any questions regarding future appointments, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We will be posting additional updates on Facebook and Instagram to keep our patients and community informed.
